Thanks so Cesar Millan, an article about my journey to become a fire safety dog, as well as valuable fire safety tips to help keep you and your family safe, is in the July 2010 issue of Cesar's Way Magazine.
We have a winner of our contest! In this contest, Sparkles' friends were asked to take a picture of their four-legged friend or child with the cover of the July issue of Cesar's Way Magazine (or the article about Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog) and their name went go into a drawing to win some very special items!
A random drawing was held to select one winner who will receive one of the very first copies of the revision of Sparkles' children's fire safety book, Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog, due to be released in July! The book will be autographed by Children's Author Firefighter Dayna Hilton and "pawtographed" by Sparkles the Fire Safety Dog!

lso receive a Talking Combination Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm from our good friends at First Alert! Woof!Drum roll please!

Oh, my goodness! Daisy and I are shaking with excitement right now! We can't believe we won the contest because we didn't plan Daisy's pose at all. Well....I think Daisy DID plan the pose and I just didn't realize it at the moment! All the credit goes to Daisy, my willing and beautiful model! Can't wait to see the prizes!

Daisy cannot believe she won the contest especially since she didn't plan her pose at all....hee!hee! She admires Sparkles for helping children stay safe in case of a fire and she wants to grow up to be just like Sparkles but I wonder if a treeing walker coon hound is built for that line of work? Hmmm...Can't wait to see the new book and smoke alarm!
